Lemon Shortbread

Lemon Shortbread / une gamine dans la cuisine

Sorry for the brief hiatus. As you can see my blog underwent a bit of a facelift. Isn't she lovely! My go-to designer is Ana from Blog Milk Shop. (She did my previous layout too!) Simple is beautiful. If your site is ever in need of something new, fresh, and clean - look no further than Ana. She's super-sweet and extremely patient. (I must have asked a gazillion questions. Maybe more.) ♥

In keeping with the freshness theme, I have some bright (and buttery) shortbread cookies to share. I can't think of a better way to break in my new look than with a lemony recipe! Today I'm guest posting on Jehanne's food blog, The Cooking Doctor. If you're new to Jehanne's site, you are in for a treat! Aside from a lovely sweet tooth, she also has a mouth watering collection of savoury recipes that span the globe - from Malaysia, to the UK, to North Indian cuisine. Plus she takes some pretty gorge photos. Oh, Jehanne is also a surgeon. Talk about being super-multitalented! (I'm slightly jealous.) :D

You can find the recipe for these plucky little lemon shortbread cookies by hopping over to Jehanne's blog. And whilst you're there take a look at all the other deliciousness.
